Who We Are

About

Leah Cohen, LCSW

They/Her
Founder and Psychotherapist

As an EMDR-trained clinician, I use a trauma-informed lens in my practice. My approach is collaborative and relational, meaning we will explore significant relationships in your life, both past and present. In practice this means I encourage feedback and openly examining the therapeutic relationship as a part of addressing therapy goals.  I emphasize the importance of acknowledging and subverting the inherent power differential in the therapy relationship.

Together, we will empower you to begin the gentle unfolding of change.

You are the expert in your own life.

I practice from a body and sex-positive perspective and I am kink aware and affirming of ethical non-monogamy and polyamory. My practice strives to approach clients and the therapy process through an anti-oppressive lens, incorporating the impact of systems on individual experience and identity, and actively working to decolonize therapy.

All of you is welcome here.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist specializing in providing affirming therapy for neurodiverse, highly sensitive, queer and gender diverse clients and those healing from trauma. I identify as an agender, queer, neurodivergent, highly sensitive, non-monogamous, fat, asian person.
